Default need alkycontrol help

noticed my alky control kit was not coming on at the track yesterday. i hit the test button on the controller, and it works, but its not coming on by its self. any idea what it could be???

What map sensor are you running? check the baseline settings?

As noted above, check the baseline settings and check your vacuum lines to the map sensor so make sure they are OK.

In addition, if the **** is not set to a level equal to or over 4 it will be "lazy" and it might take a while for the green light to turn on. If your tuner tuned the system with the **** on a lower setting, don't sweat it.

it has a 2 bar map sensor, the it was tunned with the **** all the way clockwise. not sure where the 2 settings on the controller are supposed to be set at. also i have the older kit, it only has the red led.

You might consider giving Julio a ring, hes a great guy to talk with and is sharp when answering anything and everything on his setup.

Try running a volt meter on the map output wire (usualy green), it should be somewhere around 2.5v with key on engine off.

called julio today, got it fixed, the turn on **** on the controller was set too high., Jake@EPP you are right he is a nice guy, and helped me fix it in 5 min.
