Default Info needed!

I wondering if I should buy the 1.8 rockers or just use the stock ones?

My heads havent been shaved and are stock besides porting, the pistons are ross forged flycut flat top but still wonder if my valves will hit? My cam specs are 228/230 .595/.598 112+2 lsa. Also have stock length pushrods.

Any info would be great

Well, what is wrong with the rockers you have? Are you just wanting to add more power? There are better ways of doing it than upping the ratio on your rockers. I would stick with a 1.7 and just get your heads milled .030 or whatever that will still allow you to have atleast 45 thousandths clearance. Are they flycut or are they just relieved out of the box? I wouldn't think that you would have a forged piston without some sort of relief already on it.

Nothing wrong with the ones i have, just wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade. I know everybody I have talked to says use the stockers over the 1.8 too. They are flycut not sure how much.

With 1.7 stock rockers your lift is .595/.598 But with the 1.8 rockers your lift is .630/.633 ,Is the cam compatible for that style of rocker arm, Most big cam do not recommend the 1.8

I run Ross pistons in my LS2 418cid. with 6cc valve releafs and my cam is a 250/266-.651/651-112

Where would I look to find this information out? Or should I call comp and ask?

My cam specs are 232/234 .595/.598 112+2 Xfi XE-R

leave the rockers alone, you're asking for trouble mixing a 1.8 rocker with that cam.
