Default New to Forum, About to Get a SS

What's up everyone! My name is Jason, I'm 26, from NorCal, and about to get a 2002 SS 35th LE 6 Speed w/ 28k miles, it's a bad mother.

I've wanted one sine they were new, I hated that GM stopped production on F Bodies! I actually almost got one a while back, but for around the same I got this instead...

I've had some other cool rides over the years, like these...

which I sold to get the Z06. This is my current Daily Driver...

...which I'm trading for the 35th SS. It's a nice truck, but having to fill that 26 gal gas tank these days sucks a mean one! My Z06 can average 17-18 mpg city, so even if I can squeeze that outta the SS it'll be better to the 14-15 I get in the Denali.

My 1st love is old school muscle, my Mom had a 69 RS Camaro when I was 10. I loved that car, I was hoping to get it when I turned 16 but no dice! So when I saved up enough money, I got this...

almost 9 years later, it looks like this...

This car is my baby! It's a real deal RS/SS 350 4 speed California car. I've put some much dough in it I could wallpaper a small apartment with all the receipts, no doubt. And I'm not even done, but I'm getting there.

So hopefully I get the SS soon, the current owner is putting the stock exhaust manifolds/Y pipe back on so it'll pass smog. It's got PaceSetter headers, OFY, and Loud Mouth cat back. It's loud as a son of biatch right now, honestly I won't mind it being a lil quiter. But once I get the title, it's gonna be on like donkey kong!

I'll be cruising around here trying to learn up on the 4th Gens. I'm usually on the corvetteforum & camaros.net, but the more info the better right? This forum has a lot of late model GM info so I'm glad to be a part of the community.
Sorry for the long post, but I know everyone likes pics. You can see more here of my 67, and the rest

Aren't they the same for both T/A's & Camaro's?

Nope, haven't had any of my cars up that way. I usually stick to the bay area.

So here's the deal, I owe $19k on my 03 Yukon Denali w/ 49k miles, Factory Nav, Moon Roof, heated seats, blah blah, loaded really nice truck. So my credit union will buy the SS for my pay off, the SS owner will sign over the check for $19k to me which I'll use to pay off my loan on the Denali, and I'll hand the title of the Denali over to him. So for me I'm just switching cars, but the rates are lower now than when I bought the truck so my payment will be less and I'll have a kick @ss ride instead of a huge gas guzzlin beast.
