JM has some numbers in other threads on this forum. He is running 402 and 4l80e ,nine inch. 720 or so at 12 or so.I am hoping that can reach 800rwhp on an auto or 850rwhp on an m6 with my combo. I have a pretty mellow cam but have 1.8 rockers to help up it a bit. Was going with the gt11 like aps runs but the lift is a bit too high for me as didn't feel like doing valve springs as often as would likely be needed. They should offer that gt11 in 600 lift course you can always go custom cam.

I am hoping to have some numbers this season just not sure when. Most of it is depending on when the 408 is done. APS also posted some dyno numbers on their forged 346 but their dyno reads a lot lower than dynojet. Not sure if dynojet can properly read an auto turbo car ? Maybe the newer dynojets since think they can do load or intertia?Thought it was hard to get the turbo cars to load up properly on the dynojets?

I am still waiting to see some max numbers from the standard kit on a 402/408 sized engine. That might help me decide if did want to go up on the turbos. I don't really care if can only get max 15psi on my 408 as long as its very close to the 800 to 850 mentioned above. Can always use some spray on top anyway, turbos like spray.

Oh there is still the issue of the intake tubes collapsing on the standard kits think at much over 12psi and you may need to up the gate springs to get the higher numbers as well. Standard springs are only 7.5 or 1/2 bar.

Still hoping that APS is bringing out some reinforced or modified standard intake tubes.

I don't believe the stock kit intake tubes are colapsing rather the various parts, sizes, shapes and length creating a pressure drop at the compressor inlet. When you are taking a compressor to its maximum flow capacity you must minimize pressure drop. The idea for new inlets would be exactly that. Way way back I suggested using the stock inlet paths as the high pressure paths out of the compressors as the pressure side is less sensitive. It looks that APS agrees as their new Z06 system does that and uses larger, shorter straighter inlets on that system.

Here is the 7 liter Z06 system with much better inlets. Notice the flattened pipes under the car are used to feed boost from compressors to the intercoolers.

Compared to the C5 system using the flattened convoluted and restricted pipes to route atmospheric pressure to the compressor inlets.

Quick Reply: APS at 14-15 psi
