well its new tire time and I had KDW's and wanted them again, but everyone tells me that they are discontinued

so i am flipping through the latest car and driver and I see a promo for the BFG - KDW-2

so i am about to get the BFG Super Sport A/S but does anyone know whats the deal with the kdw - 2 or should i just get the bfg-ss

kdw2 is the same at the original just different tread design on the kndw 2. kdws are discontinued and replaced with the g-force sport sport a/s tire.

The KDW2's is a great tire for dry and really great on wet. When I had the 275/35/18's in the back on rainy days, I could actually push it a little and still keep the back end straight!

Love my KDW's. Good traction in the dry(although I still blow the tires off through first gear), great in the rain.

yea kdw2's are pretty much the same in traction, just different tread patteren as stated above
