Has anyone BROKEN a B&M??? i am looking for a shifter for my 05 GTO and the B&M looks like a good shifter upgrade but everyone bashes them for breaking. i thought that if you break a stainless steel beam shifting gears then chances are the shifter isnt the only thing taking a beating but...

Ive never heard of anyone actually breaking the B&M...?? The complaints I read most often are the feel of the shifter, and the fact that you cant replace the stick. Not sure if thats true for the GTO or other model car shifters...
I imagine you'd have to really slam that thing around to bust it. I drove with one for awhile and it was ok. I didnt like the feel. But I didnt feel that it could be broken...
