braking problems after mods

Default braking problems after mods

Hey guys my 2000 camaro ss A4 recently got installed
livenoise stage 2.5 LS6 heads
MS4 cam
Fast 90/90
ASP pulley
Pacesetter race LT headers with ory andSLP loudmouth 2
HP tuned
and doesn't brake as good as it did before i got all those mods installed what should going bad or went bad???

What do you mean doesn't brake as good?

Do you have any vacuum for the booster to actually work?

Check all of your vacuum lines....

Befor i got all of the mods in there it braked normal but now it doesnt. I need to check the vacum lines.

What isn't normal? Pedal effort? Noise? Vibration? Sponginess?

You are losing power brakes. Some to all....

You could have a leak, or the cam might be too big (I'm not really into cams) to provide good vacuum to the booster.

If you had no issue before, but do now, it's related to the can swap. Either a line that isn't sealing right, is off, or it's the cam itself. It's easy to check for a leak with a bottle of propane.... run it around and if there is a leak the propane will get sucked in and the idle will rise.

did you tune the car after the mods? if not your prolly not getting enough vaccum
