Wiring Schematic Question! *4wd switch for Nitrous*
I have a 2wd, but I bought the 4wd selector switch like out of a Z71 (with the 4 push buttons) to try and use as my nitrous switch panel. The 4wd switch fits perfectly and takes about 5 minutes to pop in the dash....its just getting the wiring right that is killing me!!!
I need 3 of the buttons to be 2-way on/off switches (system engage, bottle heater, and gauge lights).
I need the third button to be momentary (purge) if pheasable.
I am still trying to work on this but with no luck so far.
Anyone have any ideas?????
On the back of the switch, there is a connection with 4 prongs, and another connection with 8 prongs. I bought the connectors that push on them for ease of wiring also (its like the wiring harnes with open ends).
The prongs are labeled: a b c d e f g h & a b c d I think.
When I finally get it, I may get a web page together with pictures, GM Part #'s, and instructions in case anyone else wants to go for it as well. I like the idea because it keeps everything looking factory. Its gonna be a hard project, but worth it IMO!
