I was curious if anyone could give me information on taking a stock t56 and building it to withstand 1000hp ... what part upgrades are required and recommended? about how much estimated price should i expect? I appreciate any and all help thank you

just buy one built to that standard already. Much easier. Check out sixspeedsinc they can probably help you.

You will basically need it built to Viper specs . It will require a Viper input shaft , out put shaft and modified tail housing . I would also suggest going with billet keys throughout the unit along with bronze shift fork pads .
