Default building first FI engine

well i have played with N/a and spray (ls1's and lt1's) now its time for boost. I bought a pristine 96lt1 m6 ta with a vortech v-2. Plans as of now are Lloyd elliot custom boost set up head and cam, forged bottom end with about 8.5- 9 compression and 12psi, 60lb injectors and meth injection with no intercooler or aftercooler.
questions are...
will the meth be enough or do i need the aftercooler?
are 60lb injectors to much or not enough

any idea's or suggestions? thanks for the help

60lb'ers should be sufficient, but you need an intercooler for anything over 6lbs of boost.

Ah, ok i thought the with the low compression you could run more boost w/o intercooler. The meth wouldnt be enough?

enough money to rebuild the engine.............or

an intercooler, and water/meth, and good tuning.

you will need a big fuel pump and bigger fuel lines. just the fuel part gets expensive.

what numbers are you trying to put down then we can know what size injectors you need.

an S trim will go to 20psi but only on a really low cube motor..... anything 350-383ci and you only need to run about 12psi or it will be spinning past its recomendations...... basicly the more cubes you have the less boost you will see
