Barrowing one from a friend.... Suprising that no one is going to have a booth set up to rent them. Sounds like a good idea to me (hint hint).

I was thinking we could get a bike shop to sponsor. My neighbor got a new loaner helmet for his wife from a shop here in Oceanside. They told them to just bring it back whenever didn't take his name or anything...

helmet needs to be snell approved so make sure you buy one that is snell approved.

http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/h...snell+approved

prolly the best deal your gonna find for a snell approved helmet. I paid like 175 for mine a little bit ago.

It has to be snell rated, Not sure what the lastest rating needs to be, 2005 or higher? If you run 13.99 or faster you need a helmet..I don't think most of you will need a helmet..haha

12645 Beach Blvd.

or

Covina Store:

But they usually try to rip you off with the popular items. So hopefully no one is buying helmets from them right now. BTW dont be suprised if you see bunch of ricers just parked outside... its like import fanboyz heaven cuz they usually have JDM stuff in the first floor

there is a place called cmc (california motorsports center) and they have helmets for 19.99 or 29.99 i cant remember but give them a call. They might have other locations but that will be about the cheapest you can get unless you try a full face bike helmet at walmart. Either way i would take the visor off when you are racing
