did mine a few months ago, ate through the caliper in 2 spots...ran it down the track 5 times, a few highway pulls, heavy braking and even got them wet washing the car. They are still holding up just fine. But thats just me.

i daily drive my ground down calipers. no problems here

No problems here either. Just take enough off for the wheel to go on properly. Also if you decide to do this get a grinding disk for aluminum cause the one for metal will gum up and throw hot **** on your arms.

i have mine ground down to fit my prostars on and i have no problem. just a pain to grind down. should have keep my bogarts for the back.
