Default Tech not working in ie but is in ff

I cannot get tech to load in internet explorer. The page loads but you cannot click anything or scroll down.

My internet explorer works with other websites just fine

Firefox is working just fine with tech.

Sounds like the answer is simple. Just run Firefox!

Glad I'm not the only one then. It has been royally pissin me off. I had a PM & couldn't check it too. It's weird b/c I'm on the computer right next to mine & they both run on the same network with Internet Explorer & I can get on from the other computer but not mine.

IE7 on Vista Ultimate locking up for me. FireFox working fine.

IE6 on WinXP Pro SP3 locking up for me.

IE7 on Win 2003 Server SP2 locking up for me.

All of them lock up with "Downloading data http://pix04.revsci.net/<somecrap>" in the status bar, but blocking that site at my firewall doesn't seem to help.

Its locking in ie for myself also. It is trying to load some file from
pix04.revsci.net

And the resrouce is not available if you try to go to it.

Very annoying.

It seems to have to do with some garbage that's trying to
download when I descend into the subforums, from a site
I don't recognize. Locks up IE real good too.
