Wanting to know how can you tell if the motor or if its the gear is bad on the TAs. My passanger headlight wont do anything when I turn the switch, but I can crank it manually and it will go up and down with no problem.. Also I turn the switch and listen and dont hear anything (checking to see if the motor kicks on).. any ideas?

unplug the conector and hook it to a direct sorce of power and ground and see if it works but always check the easy stuff first fuse relay make sure the conector and wires look good no bair spots or corrosion

Ive checked the fuse relay and and there is no corrosion and no bare spots in the wire. Ill try the direct power source and ground. Thanks

If you can manualy crank it up and down with no problems, binding, jumping, grinding, etc. you most likly have a power problem. Check for power and ground at the motor connector.

yep both of them are right its the connector is bad it just happens over time. just hard wire it, it will work after you do that.

yep, I keep having my problem at the connector, but it always kills the headlight bulbs, not the motor. I guess my car is just wierd.
