Default AFR at 14.6 how to get it down in edit?

I finally got my EFIlive and hooked it up today. My afr is at 14.6, that seems very high to me. I have scaled down my ve table drilled out my tb and raised my idle speeds to get my cam to idle. I have it idiling ok now but the car just smells like it is dumping tons of fuel, and i took it to the track last week and it ran the same times as it did before the cam and converter. What is the best way to change AFR in LS1edit and what would you think a reasonable AFR would be?

Thanks

EFI Live only shows the commanded AFR, not the real one. Your gonna need a wideband o2 to see the real deal.

and 14.7:1 is considered stoehic(or perfect) thats what our cars are set for ...the best balance between power and economy.... most power(and most fuel consumption) happens at 12.6:1
best fuel economy(and least power) happens at 15.5:1

14.6 or 14.7 is what you want at part throttle. the 12.X is for WOT. Part throttle is a closed-loop feedback system, so as long as the O2s are working you're OK. For WOT, you need to tune the PE table, but as glitch said you will need a wideband O2 to do that. Your engine is dumping fuel at idle because the overlap on that cam is fooling the O2 sensors. So if you still smell raw gas at idle, the Main VE needs to be scaled back some more.
