Anyone have a pin-drive (95+) Opti pickup laying around? Preferably one that works  I'm talking about the "little black box" electronics piece that mounts inside with 2 screws. The optical disk spins through it and is "read" by this pickup.

One of my rotor screws backed out a couple weeks ago and the resulting arcing took out everything. I have replaced the cap, rotor and isolator with an MSD rebuild kit. Still no worky... so I conclude that the pickup got taken out as well. :bang:

Please let me know. Thanks!
Todd

Yep. Just complete Opti's (OEM and Aftermarket), cap/rotor sets, and the wiring harness plugs.

I'm considering picking up an OEM Opti off there. Doing a little research on the seller, etc. as the price is very good... almost too good. If I can't get just a pickup, then I might buy one of his Opti's and transfer my new MSD stuff to it.

Thanks! A local board member just posted that Advance Auto carries just the pickup. I'll be surprised, but pleasantly surprised. Calling them in the morning.

My doubts were justified. Advance does NOT have the pickup nor have the ability to get it.

Any help out there?

TIA

Thanks! My fingers are crossed.
I also called A-Line which is a Delco network whatever supplier... no luck. They could sell me the back of an opti, but I would be getting a lot more than I need and paying a lot more than I want.

Just for clarity, I need the part labeled "photo emittor/receptor". I call it the pickup. It's got to be from a pin-drive ('95 +) opti.
