Default To Louver, or Not To Louver?

This is honestly a random find, but I was searching for Louvers to show a buddy what they were. I clicked a pic in Google Images and it just happened to be a 4th Gen (I searched Camaro Louvers though oddly). Anywho, I actually don't think these look bad at ALL on a new Firebird! Anyone else? I will admit that the price is $225 more than I'd be willing to pay though.

That is a matter of your personal taste. I wouldnt do it because i like the sleek look of the car as is but if i saw a firebird with the louvers on the road it would catch my attention. I dont think it looks ugly.

I won't be, as I said WAY too expensive.

Personally, I think that looks pretty slick and would put one on if it was much cheaper or given to me.

With that, I figure if more people show an interest that price could fall. But that seems like a far fetched idea atm with what you people have thought of it.

Maybe it's the flat-black on gloss-black car that's throwing it off? I unno, I just like the semi retro aspect of it. The 3rd Gens looked nice with them, but I never got one for mine since it died before I could.

i am not a huge fan of it with the black, but might be interesting to find pics with different colors etc.

If this were a poll, I'd put my money on the 10:1 odds of "No".

I associate Louvers with Muscle cars, not 80s. Like the 70 Boss 302/427 Stangs.
Even then new one with louvers looks nice IMO.

I had them on 2 IROC's that I had and loved them. They were both factory options. I am not sure it would look very good on the 4th gens though.....
