19, Geico, 5.9 Grand Cherokee, One accident (her fault, BITCH) two speeding incidents and one speed turned into failure to acknowledge traffic sign. It's 620 every six months, LOL, still on mom's insurance.
Actually, just to mess around I dumped all my mom's info into geico's free quote system and got $156 for six months (not per month, ALL SIX MONTHS) for every car I tried. I tried an 01 Z28, Viper, Corvette, and cavalier (control group, LOL). $156 each. What I'd give to be a 54 year old lady. :jest:

the rates really depend on your area as well...

When I got my TA I was paying about 2k for insurance on my daily driver (87 peugeot) and my new 00 TA (was 20)

Now I'm 28, and I pay about 1400/year for my 04 GTP and 00 TA, full coverage ... I had great luck w/geico price wise, but now I am with All State (better price for home owners insurance + auto insurance)

Definetly shop around... I got my GTP when I was 24, and met life (who i had previously under my parents plan) wanted 5k/year for both vehicles... geico was 2500/year at that time

20, both car and truck in sig, Comprehensive on the SS and liability only on the Z71. Only tickets are following to close and a speeding ticket i pay 183 a month but thats under my moms policy and my car is in both our names and i think my truck is too.

There shouldnt be any difference between a Z28 and an SS, the vin on an SS reads Z28 as an SS is a Z just w/ the Super Sport package.

I'm 23, Farmers Insurance, 2002 SS Camaro, with a clean driving record.

I pay $87 a month for full coverage but its a recreational and not a commute vehicle (stays parked in the garage all year). I pay $26 a month for liability on my daily driver which is a 2003 Volkswagen GTI.

My driving record is finally settling down. After June I'll have one accident on my record. I hope in Washington it will be less.

Damn I'm 26 and think I'm getting ripped compared to some of you. I have full coverage on the trans am through Progressive (100/300 across the board and all the extra stuff w/ $250 deduct). I'm paying like $146 a month right now. I went to driving class for a ticket and then got another one and just paid it, but it shows my record as clear. I had a claim when someone smashed my driver side rv mirror, but I paid all deductable and that covered it, so didn't have an effect.

I'm 31, wife is 29. We have 50/100/50, underinsured/non-insured, rental car, gap coverage, basically everything. 500 deductible on a 2002 Dodge (POS) Stratus and a 2007 Nissan Titan. 1k deductible on my TA with a few mods....:secret2:

We pay 187/month with Progressive.

FYI, we live in Tucson AZ which is higher then hell in comparison to other places in this state. Nothing like living 60 miles north of Mexico and not having a garage(renting an apartment). :eyes:

not exact numbers. 343/ 6mo for my jeep GC, 454/ 6mo for my ws6, and I split the weekly commute between my jeep and 92 camaro, which runs me 120 or something per six months.

is there a way to classify my ws6 as something else so I don't have to pay so much for full coverage insurance? I only drive it on weekends, sometimes every other weekend...?

Try a different company possibly and get it insured as a recreational vechicle.

$610 every 6 months. State Farm

Little trick for ya that works here in Florida. My girlfriend did this, her father told her to and it worked like a charm. She was 23 yrs old with a Monte Carlo SS. This was back in 1996. Open yourself up an LLC or a Corp. Name it whatever you want, "ACME Car Company". Then go get insurance and tell them its going to be insured under the LLC or Corp. as the company car and will only be driven for company purposes. Your rates will be half for the same coverage. And if you ever have a claim they won't ask if you were working. If they do, say you were on your way to a business lunch. But they won't.
