Default Spec 2 bucking

i just installed my new Spec 2, and resurfaced the flywheel. now everytime i let out the clutch at low-ish rpms it starts bucking and is really hard to drive that way. especially in reverse. iv been told this is normal durring break in on a kevlar clutch but i wanted to be sure.

I only have about 180 miles on my and I haven't experienced that yet. Mines felt pretty good so far, really smooth and the grab point has already moved up close to the midpoint.

Heard about it enough to call it common, just been lucky to have never encountered on mine. Maybe slip the clutch a bit to break it in quicker.

you are feeling clutch "chatter". normal for a puc type disc. you will find the "sweat" spot in rpm's for engagement and after break in it will get better.

slipping the clutch at low rpm's will cause more chatter than just letting out the clutch.

going to a more aggressive clutch like the SPEC 2 will compromise driveabilty somewhat but the clutch will hold more power than a stock one.

is this why everyone suggests the Spec 3 for bolt on cars? does it do that too?

don't know, maybe SPEC 01 can chime in.

I would assume the clutchs become more aggressive as you move up on the SPEC's (2, 3, 4, etc.)

My $02 is you will find the sweet spot and it will chatter less after break in.
