Default looking to go turbo

I'm thinking about adding a turbo to my LS1. Right now everything is completely stockexcept for an SLP MAF. What if any engine upgrades will I need to complete to conversion?

While the FI section is good, I think posting in the LS1 section would be a bit better. To me, the FI section is more general and would be good for specific questions when coming to the computer and like what turbo to use. But the LS section will help you with others who have a Firebird or Camaro and have turbo'd their vehicle.

If you plan to do it yourself, I think with LSx motors there's a nice cheap route to go by reusing your stock exhaust manifolds and switching their sides and then making a crossover pipe infront of the motor for a single turbo setup.

Other than that, there's a few sponsors on the right who have setups, and I ran across these guys on google quick when looking for images
