Default clutch problems?

a few months ago i started having clutch problems, my car has 125k miles on it, so i figured that the clutch was ready to go

anyways, i was having trouble getting the car in gear stopped at a red light, and the 1st to second shift was almost impossible unless i slammed it into gear.. it only did this sometimes though

and heres the weird part, when i had troubles getting it in first at a red light, i would put the shifter in neutral, then let the clutch out, when i did this, i could hear a little banging noise in the transmission (how it would do this in neutral puzzles me)

also sometimes when i would take it into higher rpms my clutch would slip

anyways, this problem has completely disappeared, im not sure if its because it is warming up weather wise or what

the only thing i can think of is the clutch wasnt fully releasing when i pressed the pedal down, but i dont see how the temperature outside would affect it.. also when i was driving, the problem would come, then go away for a few minutes, then come back again

You have hydraulic issues. Then it also sounds like the clutch is slipping @ hi RPM.
The hydraulics can be fickle sometimes. Temp can affect them due to the seals not doing as well of a job cold etc.
Sounds like it is time to do the complete clutch & hydraulics on your car.

It sounds like you need to do the master slkave & the clutch.
Kind of expected at that milage if it has never been done.
Ya it's gonna be $$$
