Emission legal long tubes for c5 z06?
I was wondering, i am on the outskirts of Atlanta, Ga and rumor has it that my county will soon have emission testings and i wanted a set of longtubes but didnt want to have to take them off if we did get emissions. Am i just doomed to shortie headers, if so whats the best one? the b&b looked good, but i would love to put some of the QTP's on any day over the b&B. do any of the long tubes bolt right up or is a little welding required? I have a 2001 c5 Z06. Im getting the magnaflow 15660 monday and was just trying to get some base parts ready for the procharger ill purchase in the near future.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Technically, long tubes will not pass a strict visual inspection because the cats have been relocated from the stock location. As long as you get cats, you should be able to pass the sniffer with aftermarket LT, assuming you cleaned up the tune. Make sure the car and the cats are fully warmed up before testing. A clean set of plugs wouldn't hurt.

I'm in Atlanta and I had a raw Firehawk putting out 600+ rwhp that passed just fine..
no cats, huge lumpy cam, and twin turbos.
In Atlanta, it's only a "check engine light" check.
You can run longtubes, delete your cats if you want to, just make sure that your tuner (dyno tune or even better a street tune) turns off the SeS codes and you'll pass with flying colors.
