Default Anyone just buy BFG drag radials?

... I'm having some difficulty finding tires in stock at the usual spots.

Looking for 315/35/17 in the BFG G-Force TA DR... thanks for any heads-ups.

From what I heard the BFG's are on nationwide back order from BFG and it's gonna be a while. Lots of guys are going with the Nittos 555r's, but it seems they are running out too as some places have them on back order as well.

I just had BFG's, I wouldn't recommend them.

Yah, in terms of tread life... but for grip at my power level, the BFGs and MTs are much better than the Nitto 555r DR (while the Nittos gave over 4x the treadlife). I've had all three in 315/35/17 on my car.

I recommend the Nitto 555r as a good Drag Radial compromise for grip and treadwear. As I said above, much longer lifespan than BFG or MT.

Yea, i work at the Costco Tire Center and i just got a pair. same size too 315/35/17. I would wait and try to find a friend who also wants a pair, because next week we have a sale in which you buy 4 michelin and selected BFG's (drag radials are one of them), you get $60.00 off the whole set. However, due to liability issues, we cant install 315's on fbodies, company policy, so because of that, you will get an additional $11 off a tire to take it elsewhere to to have it installed. so in total, you get $60 off, then another $44 to take it elsewhere so you save $104.00. Plus, we basically sell the tires at wholesale so you cant beat our prices

I just got a pair for my 03 Cobra wt 450rwhp and they lasted me less than 2 weeks with about 8 quarter mile passes and NO burn outs.........I drove around the water box and just bleeped the gas to clean the tires at the line..........then drove a few thousand miles.......maybe 2K miles and then the cords began showing.........I swear the rubber was practicly falling off them!

Really? Because I have some for my 02 GT on a separate rim, they've seen over 3000 regular road miles, over 30+ passes at the strip(pulling 1.7 60's stock suspension) and they still have a bit of life left in them. Can't ask for more than that.

they will install them as long as the vehicle is modified for them. which basicly means wider wheels. overall diameter is the same.
