I like how your torque curve holds above 350 rwtq all the way to your limiter. Nice mild combo, and your valve springs will thank you for not going over .600 lift. Please post some video and/or track stuff. I'd love to see that combo kick some ***.

You picked up on a key criteria I had. Namely, keeping the lift below .600 for the valve train & spring longevity. Also went with the 5.3l heads based upon my usage. Shorter runners for low end power out of the turns.

Glad to see a combo put together for a specific purpose. Mine was for topend. I see you went for auto X'ing and the choices make it clear. Good result for your purpose.

For example, Friday I ran seven sessions for a total of 218 track miles at Hallett Motor Racing. Apples and oranges comparison with autocrossing.

P.S. Just having fun. Autocrossing isn't all that bad, if you're a girl......

Looks good, Rick! I think she'll perform how was was intended to when you hit the course! Let me know if I can help with anything else down the road

Spin that sucker to 6600rpm+ and port the stock TB which should result in 430rwhp+ easy.
A friend had a near identical combo and made that kind of power.
With rod bolts in a stock '99 shortblock I spun my motor to 7100rpm routinely for 20K miles with no issues and hundreds of miles road racing at local tracks. (AFR 205's and TSP 233/239 cam) '00+ motors came with better rod bolts....

What's involved in porting the TB?

did you use the cometic .40 head gasket? Also do you have the ls6 intake manifold? I have the same combination with the cometic .40 headgasket+ported fast intake manifold+bluemaxx throttlebody.

Launching!
I'm looking at doing the exact same combo, 228r lsa112 cam and same heads. Got 02' SS so I have the Ls6 intake. Just trying to do some research before I take the plunge. Great numbers!
