Default Intake manifold..screw up!!

I am pissed, I pulled the intake manifold off my car and screwed up. I broke two pieces, the damn sensor connected to the back of the intake..so I a have to buy a new one of those...

And there is a piece that is connected to the block behind the Intake Manifold... Round piece that connects to a Sensor plug. I looks like its a big bolt that I cant remove...anyone know of this and know what size socket to use. This really sucks!

Its whats circled in white that broke off.

The thing you broke off on the block I believe is the oil pressure sending unit. Things like these need to take time. You cant be rushed on this.

that tall one is the oil pressure sensor. I broke mine also. I used a wrench to take it off. It's not a big deal and easy to fix.

Yep just take the broken one out and put in a new one. I got mine from a local GM dealer.

Yes that's your MAP sensor on the back on the intake.

Yes that would be the map sensor in the round hole connected to the back of the intake.

not 100% sure but I dont think you can even use a socket on it because the plastic has a larger diamiter than the base where you would use a socket.

I can't remember the size I used. you should have enough room. you intake is still off isn't it?

part number is 12562267

As far as your map sensor I have seen people epoxy them back on or plastic weld them.. I'm not sure how yours is broke but it might be an option for you.

27mm or 1" + 1/16 socket......needs to be a deep socket to clear the plastic bit.
From the bottom of the hex on the sender to the top of the plastic breakable part is 2.7" tall.

It was pretty easy to get the broken oil pressure unit off. Just gotta get a big ratchet on there. New one will just screw on. If you have an autozone, just go to the counter and they will find the part for you. If they dont have it, it should only take a day and its about 35 bucks. I broke mine too! Whats the other thing you broke?
