Default new car too me...1964 vette

Just got this roadster. I couldnt pass it up. Its clean car, I built and installed the engine and trans, but the previous owner finished up most of it. Its an LT1 and t56. It rolls on 17x13 rear and 17x11 front on 335's and 295's up front.
It has alot of suspension stuff done, it was a scca car and road racer. It has a setroids rack and pinion conversion also.

It will reside next to my 66 coupe, that is a heads cam ls1/ 2004r.

11s up front!
I love it!
All it needs is an LT1 to LS7 swap now!

future plans....

air conditioning. It already has the compressor mounted, so a call to vintage air will fix it up.

The other mod....I happen to have a few extra lt1's, and a f1 procharger....that I think I can fit in there.

Oh and it was painted after its racing career....

My 66 coupe with a aluminum headed small block, alum water pump, headers, dual full xhuast, power windows, brass radiator and no front bumper was 2840lbs.

I havnt weighed the roadster yet, but its likely the same. It has an aluminum radiator, LT1 (alum heads) and side pipes, probably 2900.

I have a ls1 in the 66 now, and I havnt weighed it either but I think it will be right close to 2700.

My favorite of the older vettes! I would love to own one one day, but not in the cards right now. Maybe when I finish my 69' camaro.

Congrats

All of you have very nice cars. I was wondering how you guys are controlling the TV cable on a 2004R or a 700 R4 when using them with an LS1 engine? My swap is an 1998 corvette LS1 into a 66 gm a body car that already has the 2004R in it.

Look like my friends I used to drive in the 80's 12 in the rear 10's up front, radical 350 for the day, the guy he bought it from said it would run 10's long ago, but it was still fun to drive, Very nice car!
