I'm looking for a body shop in central IL that can paint a Sunoco hood for me. If you've had a VFN or other quality fiberglass hood painted, where was it done, how much did you pay, and are you happy with how it looks?

I did some searching on here and found prices anywhere from $150 to $1200. My car is Sebring Silver and I don't know if they would need to blend the fenders, but it would probably be nice to do that and get rid of the light scratches from my header install.

i had my car done at a shop in Havana,IL...Called Armitage Collision. Ask for Matt. I had my whole car done, along with a new VFN Sunoco hood,as well. The car/hood, turned out, killer.

I would be a little skeptical on the 150.00 Price will depend on how much work you want done. If you blend the fenders and bumper cover it can get a little pricey. The last aftermarket hood we put on a Camaro took a lot of work to get it to fit. Only charged around 600 to do the bodywork and paint on a black car with no blending. If you are interested let me know, as I can get you a good price and a job you would be proud of.

im having mine done at "the dent pros" in plainfield its going to be around $500 when its all done and said, this is including fender blending, pm me for details

I've had good luck with Paul's in Bloomington (did my Sunoco hood) and Piercy in Carlock (did my bumper cover customization and paint along with under hood).

Both top quality jobs.
