what injectors? i have the mods in sig and it's a smaller cam and made 391rwhp. either injectors are bad or you have more serious problems(compression low). Plugs COULD cause it but i doubt it. Is it missing at all? Change 'em out and change the fuel filter and see where that gets you. That doesn't fix it try getting fuel pressure checked and then compression and leakdown. If your running stock injectors your WAY to low on fuel.~Cole~

Has the PCM been tuned for all the mods and the cam? That is a fairly aggressive cam for a 346 and without a tune for it, the car will definitely not make the power it could.

Unless the car has 4:10 gears that you're not telling us about, I'd say it's kind of low. As mentioned earlier, I would do a compression and leakdown if the other stuff checks out fine. Good luck man, and don't get to caught up in dyno #'s since you said it runs strong. Take it to the track and see what it does.

Check out the SHORTY headers guys. Replace the headers and watch it pick up 20-30 hp AT LEAST.

You need to post a graph... I am having the same issue and have finally found the problem... valve float. There was a bad set of beehives that were made is what I have heard. Could be something to look at.

I say its the headers or the cam is a tooth off..
Who installed the cam, did they advance or retard the timing?
Do they do a lot of cams?

the 97-98's have the most restrictive computers. I know it is not a corvette, but I have a friend with a 98 camaro z28 with a 408 and he is stuck throught the stock maf because the computers are so restrictive. So see what the tuners did with that and also you are running through shorties and stock cats. i would also check what the other guys have said, and what injectors are you running? Best of luck with the problem and the car looks great in the pic. very clean and sharp looking.

The shorty headers really don't do that much for you. A little better than stock. A nice set of longtubes and some highflow cats, if you want cats, will help the enigne make more power plus it will help the cam exhaust a whole lot easier. Look into getting rid of the 85mm maf and get a Z06 maf. Always heard that the stock MAF is better than the aftermarket ones. Heard many stories of guys losing power with aftermarket maf. After you do this, then get the car retuned.

btw what rear gears are in the car?

You said it correctly. With just BOLTON's. You unfortunately are lacking one of those bolt on's. If you didn't have your cam, what would you want the car to dyno with your existing mods?

That is my point. If you were 330 without the cam and swaped out your shorty's for some long tubes, that would jump to around 350-360. Now add your current cam into the mix and you have a solid 400hp+ setup. Your at 360 now so just think what is going to happen once you let the car breath. Also this is still through the stock CATS! I don't know if any one else that has stock CATs. They are all aftermarket. There is nothing mechanically wrong with your car other then it needs to breath.

Retune it for your MAF terry and put those LONG tubes on it we talked about. It WILL bring the TRQ back and upper HP as well.
