My project after Invasion
It is entirely non domestic muscle related, but i promised id do it for my friend this week since i had it off for vacation. let me know what you guys think.
It was done entirely with a jig saw, cordless drill, and power sander. The screws went in 1.5" apart. The sound was pretty well balanced. he listens to rock and the system kicked pretty well, but with rap it got somewhat obnoxious.
I didnt get pics, but i flushed all of the wood pieces after i took the pics. some of the wood split, but only because I drilled so close to the edges. I had pre-drilled and countersunk all screws (105 screws in all).
on the cover i actually drilled out above the subs, but i ran carpet over it all to keep it stealth. that top piece comes off, its on press fit on.

thanks.
so i guess people expected something with MY car. ROFL
i might have to post something up from my car...although its not entirely ready...heres a hint at what i couldnt get finished in time for Invasion...
I plan to do it for both sides, they will be smoothed and painted to match the car. this seems easier than filling and painting the areas, plus it can hide the ECU and other open useless area. they are for show only and would come off for street use.
