what to do (Nitrous) stock motor
i have 98 transam ls1 i want to install a nitrous, i want a dry NOS kit. i have a stock motor and very new to this, what also is recomended when installing one of these injectors, purge, ????? need some help any into is a plus

that's really pushing it. The answer, or at least the safe one, is NO! You can run a 50 shot of dry on stock injectors and pump. Over that you're at risk of having your injectors lock up or fuel pump failure. You really need to read the nitrous stickies about twice each. Just read up for at least two weeks before you start buying stuff.

The 98 came with 28lb injectors instead of the 26s. However I am sure that it being as old as it is the stock injectors and fuel pump are strating to weaken. If you do decide to tune the system for a 50-75 dry shot I suggest watching the fuel pressure and injector duty cycle as you move up on the tune. The stock fuel pump in perfect working order is good for about 450 HP. The injectors in perfect working order I have seen support about 400 HP give or take alittle. Keep in mind every application is different. Internet advice on what the injectors and pump will support is nothing more than a area of expectation.
