My car has been doing this for a while and now im just fed up with it. My car will idle really high, sometimes a little above 1000 and sometimes even 2000. Even while im driving i can feel the car moving forward without me touching the throttle. Anyone know what it could be?

IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. I think my friend has the same problem.

That is what mine is doing too it is driving me nuts, I have checked everything. I even just pulled and clean the IAC, checked ohm resistance and it still idles high and it isn't throwing a code. I do still suspect it and am about ready to drop the $100.

i had that problem once. it possibly could be a dirty maf or a leak somewhere near the intake.
