Need opinions on this Lingenfelter XER cam. Is it too much? I'm considering buying this cam for my 99 A4 Z-28. It's a Lingenfelter Extreme Energy (XER) custom grind cam. 224/230 581/592 on a 114 lsa. I've been told by the owner that he's ran it on his A4 02 SS w/o tuning with no any idling/surging problems. I'm considering it an upgrade when compared to my LS6 cam. I'm basically looking for something a bit more beneficial for my car. I plan on getting this thing tuned this December but this has to run for me atleast till then untuned. Can this cam make more power for me untuned than my LS6 cam and also, does any have any experience with this cam in an untuned A4?
