1st time Bracket Racing
Tried my hand at Club Clash (bracket racing) at Bandimere last night and I had a blast. We got 2 trial runs. My first one was right on par with what I had run on my 2 outings to the track previously. I normally run a 14.5 (keep in mind I'm in Colorado, and on average we run a full second slower for NA cars so its about average for a stock LS1). My first trial run I got a 14.413 which was slightly better than my previous best. My second trial run I netted a 14.282. I was definitely pleased lol. I dialed in a 14.2 just in case the same fluke happened on the actual race. I got lined up with a mustang that was dialing in at 14.89. He takes off and I get a real good launch when my light turns green. Flew past the mustang and decided to let off near the finish since i was leading by a good amount. I pull up to the ticket shed and what do you know. I got a 14.099 even after letting off lmfao. Yea yea so I broke out on my first official run ever but getting a 14.099 w/ just catback and a lid made me happy overall. I'm thinking I could have touched the 13s. Maybe once I get the 100 shot install finished I'll be able to break into the 12s.

Congrats on the first time bracket racing. If you decide to stay with it, as you already found out bracket racing means fast and slow cars each have an equal chance. It's not about new best e.t.s, instead about consistency. Good luck on your next trip.
