Default .81 a/r

I was thinking of putting the .81 a/r housing on my gt67 turbo for a little faster spool. It has a .96 on it now. Do you guys think it will choke up top with the .81 or is it not small enough to matter anyways?

The short answer is that it will choke it up top on your 347... but how much boost do you want to run? A 0.81 might be OK up to 6 psi or so...

When do you see full boost with your current setup? 3500 rpm? Later?

My T67 front mount (granted, a different turbo, different location) came with a 0.81 and we needed to go to the 0.96 to get good power. It's fully spooled with 11 psi at 3000 rpm.

Have you done the complete exhaust wrapping thing yet for your STS?

I am deployed right now so I haven't even been home to drive it. My wrench in Tampa finished it about a month ago.

It has a 10pd spring but with the big FMIC, it wont see 10 more like 8.5 so I might get a 12 pd spring to hit around 10psi.

Yes, I do have longtubes though but they are wrapped all the way back to the turbo and considering double wrapping the headers.
