why am i getting worse gas mileage than before the racetronix system? i got 200 miles on a tank before and now 180. keep in mind my spedo reads 10 mph slower so its actually more but still. right before my fuel pump went out i only got 180 too. this is all city driving and i drive fairly conservative. i usually dont go over 2000-2500 rpms. i am using 93 also.

have you changed your fuel filter? have you gotten your spedo calibrated... get it calibrated. you only get 180 to a tank?? automatic?
lol, quit bitchin... you said its actually more...
i easily get 220 and thats romping on it from time to time... is she tuned?

More fuel pressure + No retune = Worse mileage
At least check your fuel pressure at the rail and adjust your IFR table accordingly. If all you have done is put in the Racetronix pump, then I bet your fuel pressure is close to 62-63psi at the rail at idle.

yes i changed the filter. and its an m6 car. what should my fuel pressure be at?
would i have to get it tuned to recalibrate the spedo? i dont know what gears i have either. what needs to be tuned with the new fuel pump?

If you are running stock injectors and fuel pressure regulator there is nothing to tune for. Make sure your FPR is in good working order...

Off the top of my head and looking at your mods. I would think tune but I may be wrong.
"z28_theantirice" is correct if you haven't changed the FR or the FPR the pressure and volume is increased to the rail but past the rail everything still the same per inj. pulse and psi.
I installed a Racetronix kit and gained Mpg's by 3-5 with a new tune!
