Default Bleeding off boost

I have done a search on a couple of sites and couldn't find what I was looking for. With the cam I have now, multiple people told me that it will bleed off boost due to the LSA being a tight 112. Bleeding boost...does it mean that psi it drop and spike randomly or not run the right amount of psi the spring is set at?

If it's the cam in your sig, then I would try it. It would do better with a higher lsa, but I don't think that cam is agressive enough to hurt you.

Why the 112 with an auto anyways. Did you want the extra lope?

On the turbo the wastegate will hold the boost level but with a Cam bleeding boost the turbo will be spinning harder to make that boost level compared to a cam that holds more cylinder pressure.

The turbo guys have a bit more of an issue with it then the blower guys. The turbo will spin harder to make that boost. A blower will show less boost but some tests show overlap is a good thing, it tends to clear the cylinder with that "bled" off boost, less boost same power.

Yea, just for the lope. Had no idea I was going turbo until I deployed and got some cash.lol. O well, If it hurts performance too bad, I guess I'll pull it...Since I'm made outta money

If you are going to pulley it to change the LSA, you could also increase the durations a little to match your 3400 stall.
