Default Getting codes for both O2 sensors

Ive recently thrown codes for both primary O2 sensors. They are approximately a year old with maybe 3-4k miles on them. THey were installed when I had the cam installed. Any idea why both may be fubared already? Can a richer A/F cause premature failure?

Yes, if they both go at the same time there is a problem elsewhere.

well i know that I have a very small exhaust leak on the drivers side header, but its after the O2 sensor. I wouldnt think that would affect the passenger side.

WOW. Replaced both primary O2 sensors today. What a difference. Drove the car for 30 miles, with 3 stops. The car runs so much smoother. No codes while driving. Before I would get O2 sensor codes every drive cycle.

Definately worth the price. Got a set of Bosch 13111 off of ebay for $123 shipped. Not bad. The same sensors at autozone were $74 a piece.
