Drag Racing Tech - full tubs or mini tub?

I'm trying to decide if I want to order a set of mini tubs or just put a full tub in the car. I plan on running a set of 28x10.5W's and a set of 325's if I can find them after the cars running.

With the factory outer tub I won't be able to set the car down and thats the look I want but a full tub seems like it is going to be more work and I don't want to burn any paint off the quarter. So if I put a full tub in how do you secure it against the quarter?

The rear will be shortened 2" a side, narrowed lca brackets, and offset bushings in the lca's.

Also how much of the frame do most of you trim off. Half inch? or a full inch?

You can pm me I just did a mini tub with a 36", then did a 40" full tub, if you're only going 28" tire you can lower it pretty good, anything over 28" I would use a full tub. When you do a regular mini tub you cut the frame on average 16" from the outside fender lip to the frame.

With a full tub like I did with a 40" you don't attach the tub to the outside quarter panel, you attach it in the front and rear and to the frame and you use silicone to attached it to the rear quarter panel.
