Default 99 Wrangler LS1

It is a stock Jeep color "Pearl Sand Mist". It's brownish gold.

It has been great fun so far. It's my every day hot rod. Rain, wind and mud I am driving it.

The LS1/4L60E with 3:73 gears is great combo.

8.8 Explorer rear end. Wide chain kit, 6 pinion planetary and SYE in the 231 TC.

Novak trans adapter. Novak radiator. Howell harness and computer mods.

Speedway headers into 3" flowmaster merge into 3' cat into 3" Flowmaster 50 series muffler. 2.5" mandrel bend tail pipe. Sounds great but next time I will build a 3" tail pipe.

B&M Hammer shifter in the stock console.

Stock gauges with the exception of the Auto meter tach.

Very snappy off the line.

This is my third LS swap. First was a 79 Camaro with LS1 and the second is a 4.8 into a 98 Wrangler. The 98 Wrangler is for sale.

E-mail me with any questions.

Default 99 Wrangler

I pulled the stock senders, oil and temp from the 2.5 and transplanted onto the LS1. I am running the Jeep computer for evey thing except the engine and trans.

Used the stock 231 speedo sensor on the tail shaft of the 231.

Novak supplied the sensor for the VSS with their trans adapter. Worked great.

Sounds like a nice rig man!
I was wondering about the rear. I've seen some swaps into Jeeps with the stocker D35 rear end...that's just a TIME BOMB!

The 8.8 is a great rear end. I had just done that swap on mine and it had about 250 miles on it before I went off the deep end with it.

What tires are you running? Size? Curious since you're still at 3.73...

I'd email you but I'm on the road and my email is acting up...sorry.
