Default Need some pics of the Hi-Flo intercooler mounted.

I want to mount my intercooler kinda how it was mounted on the Hi-Flo kit. I really dont want to hack up the front bumper and lose the fogs.

Can some of the Hi-Flo guys post up some pics of how it was mounted?

Thanks!

Here ya go, I'm about to wrap up my build with this kit. This intercooler came with 2 tabs mounted to it with holes drilled in them to line up with 2 holes in the bumper support. I can get better pics of the tabs if you need them. Heres what I have as of now, I'll be working on the car more tonight and can snap some more pics if need be....

Sorry for the crappy quality pics, they were taken with my phone

As you can sorta see in the pics, I had to remove some material from the front/inside edge of the holes in the nose behind the grill, as well as where the crease line is in the nose to expose most of the intercooler to the air. I also had to prune the side pieces some where the charge pipes enter/exit. I'll get better pics of that tonight.

Haha. Yeah, it was just hanging because it had been mounted there previously before the nose/front end had been modified for the intercooler. Since it has been relocated to the bottom corner of the radiator (see top pic)

I sent you a PM about how you had that setup this afternoon, now I know. No need to write back, thanks!

I'm curious though, why still the MAF?

LOL I was just about to reply. I'm still running the MAF because that is what my tuner prefers and knows. Once I get time to start doing my own tuning, I'll switch to SD, but until that time I still got some bugs to finish ironing out (pretty much fuel related). But hopefully that will all be soon

I must be really stupid. I don't see how these big I/C are getting enough air to cool these things down enough, laying horizontal like that?
