question about 02 sensors with headers

Default question about 02 sensors with headers

Ok me and a buddy are putting on a pair of headers, ls6 intake new msd wires and ngk plugs this weekend, my question is, with running an ORY will stock bosch 02 sensors work for my fronts? I'm gettin the rears tuned out,

Ttt for today, I'm just wantin to know if I'm installing headers, can i still use an OEM bosch 02 sensor for the front sensors

You'll need longer ones for the front, Bosch 13111.

I need the long ones even if I have the 02 extensions already?

Nah if you have the 02 extensions, then you're good. Just beware the fact that the extensions sometimes make for lazy 02 response...possible SES in your future.

No. I didn't see where you said that. Either extensions + stock o2's or Bosch 13111 will work

I would use rear O2 sensors for headers because they have a higher wattage heater in them for being placed further down the exaust stream

GO Bosch 13111 front vette O2's....wider heat range....had them 2 years now...
