Angry ...adding cats...

So the person did my "inspection" passed away. And i need an inspection this month so i plan on buying Magnaflow spun cats and hollowing them out.
The main part is will this change the sound of my car alot??? I might just slip the cats on over the ORY. See mods in sig.

-Thanks!

I run cats on my set up and have no complaints and no want to take them off. you might lose 4-6hp. which is like turning your a/c on

i just installed some 59959 magnaflow cats.. and i acctually liked the sound change it gave my car... it cleaned up some of the raspyness that was there...but for acctual reduction in loudness... it really didnt do anything at all...its still loud as hell! lol

what i had previously was LT headers, ORY and GMMG

now LT headers, one 59959 cat per side, y-pipe and GMMG

I would just install them and if you don't like the sound have them gutted so it still 'appears' that you have cats.

If you go with those hi-flow cats, you're not going to lose anything. They're also not going to change the sound very much. There's no sense in gutting them, IMO. They're expensive and will clean up stink. Why not use them as intended?

Good point, alright i will have to look into the different brands out there. I wonder if KOOKS makes some, they would be my first choice!

I just ordered Pypes cats. I've heard good things about them. I haven't installed them yet though. Also check Magnaflow. Just a couple of ideas.

Just put the cats on. The sound is so much nicer as well as the fact that you aren't ******* up the atmosphere. Plus, you wont stink.

I have the Magnaflow spun metallic cats on my setup. They're smaller than a bullet muffler and don't do a damn thing to the sound compared to other cats. When my cutout is open the car is ridiculous at WOT and very raw. You will be happy with them. I'm VERY happy

So it still sounds good with the cutout open right?
I was thinking of getting the spun cats got to get rid of the smell but not sound!
Nothing like LTs with a cutout.
