WTB ls1 and t56 combo in bay area too 4.7K OK here I go. Got the stoopids again and have clean rust free cali t-top 1980 TA with the miserable 301 4.9 in it. Trouble is I also have an 05 GTO and the LS2 and T56 has ruined me for anything less. LS1 close enough for rock and roll.
Ive got up to $4500 to spend for a nice LS1 and nice 5 or 6 speed manual drive line ecu and all that.
Gonna give the old TA the modern guts go east bound and down.
I only need the driveline so internals count more than f-body specific bolt ons.
I'll pay cash no BS.
What have ya got ?
I don't have a truck but we can work that out. I'm ready to pull the trigger and not screwing around. But i've done my reading on LS1s and if well taken care of they are good for about 200K miles. If your has 125K dont assume the full $4500. $4500 is for NICE driveline. Low miles or well documented and
rebuild. I'm looking for a tough daily driver with some nads and not a short life drag race monster.
I do want drive from Texarcana to Atlanta no prob.
It's a good cause, rust free bandit style T-top TA here. Good home for your
work and sweat and money if you need the loot.
