My LS2 V8 Miata on SPEED Channel
Last Saturday my car was on GEARz TV show in their "What are you working on" segment.
I was swampped with e-mails about people hearing about it but, missing the show.
I just saw somebody from another Forum posted the Speed Channel, GEARz TV segment featuring my car on U-Tube.
Here's a Link for anybody that missed it!

VERY cool!! I like real "drivers". Good job, nice car.
I tried that slalom stuff once......yea, cones flyin' everywhere!! The instant roll center of a '35 Ford sedan is about 3 1/2 feet off the ground, combine that with 400 or so horsepower and it's a real cone killer.......or I just can't drive.

Yup, Stacey and his crew are nice people and they mean well.
Obviously, I didn't try to stuff that blown big block in, it was just a joke!!
Partly I did do the Miata for the fun Disrespect of drivin' a Chick Car around with Slayer capabilities for both Street and Track days. (I've had Cobras, V8 Z-cars, and Porsche Carrera 327 Chevys to name a few) This just seemed different.
There some U-tube Street-Fire videos of a guys LS6 V8 Miata puttin' down a Lambo Murchilago hard up to about 140 MPH+ (it takes a bigger pair than I have to go faster than about 160 in a Miata, I don't care how well built)
Funny though, analysis / gear calculations say 215 MPH TOP is possible (barring aerodynamic drag problems I'd imagine) Courage / Stupidity deficit in my case is a major limiting factor.
You don't get to be a Grandpa X 5 like me by being too crazy.
Thanks for your comments guys!!

Nice swap! I'll have to show this to a good friend of mine that runs a miata in NASA. He was thinking of building an LSx 240 like mine for it, but I think he'll get a kick out of this.

GTO-240Sx, my first choice was a 95 up 240SX LS2 and Jap Tuner exterior, serious business upgrades, like yours SWEEET!!!!!.
The couple I found here, even here in Arizona were junkers and because of the crowd of hovering drifters drooling over them, the owners asking prices were as though the trunks were full of Gold Bars!!
I found and drove over 20 Miatas before I picked my one owner car for less than half of low book!
You do what ya gotta do, eh?
