I'm using the ASP pulley in my 383 build, runs just fine. I dont think a pulley on a 346 vs. 383 makes a differance.

If your planning on supercharging the car though, I'd go with the ATI and pin it. That'll be one less step when its time for the FI.

Nobody else has heard different. Will I have better engine life and harmonics if I use an ATI. An ATI pulley is about $130 more?

Default Please Help

OK guys someone please help. Im being told that a powerbond is better than a TCI pulley. Im also being told that ATI is best 4 harmonics. Plain and simple I just need someone's feedback on which pulley I should use for a 383 stroker that will get a 150 shot.

Vader - What pulley did you end up going with? I'm in a similar situation right now. 416 stroker and an M6 tranny. I ran the ASP on my 346 for a couple of years but have read some horror stories about them on strokers with manual trans.

Thank you

The ATI is the best no question. It is rebuildable and they contain several different polymers to absorb a wider range of frequencies.

Most all high end motors I see run ATI for a reason....

That's what I was thinking. I will probably go with an ATI, but I have been trying to get some feedback on the powerbond pulley as well

I just put a Fluidampr 10% underdriven pulley on my new 408. Very nice piece.

I like the ASP on my 346 too, but have heard to many horror stories about it when matched up to a manual tranny.

I've had the same ASP on my SS from when it was bolt-ons from 9 years ago. I've had it on my 427 for over 5 years now.
