Default MS4 + nitrous?

Hey guys, I've been trying to do research on my own, but I'm not getting anywhere. I want to get a wet kit for my car. I have a 2001 camaro with ported ls6 heads and an MS4 on a 111. Would this be doable. I understand that the motor isn't going to last forever, but I was think a 100 shot to be safe. But am I screwed due to my cam choice. All the local LS1 guys who are spraying say the car won't take it, and that I should do a cam swap first. I don't want to swap cams. Any advice would be apreciated.

well on a 111lsa it isnt the best lsa for spray but i dont see why you cant with a good tuner at hand. I would be a little more worried about the pistons more than the cam taking the spray. you will be on the high end of what these stock pistons can take . Just my.02

How much flycutting do you have on the pistons or do you have a totally different "forged" bottem end. I also have a ms4 with a 125 shot and it takes it very well and will a good tune would do you some good. But i would put on no more than 100 shot if you do not have a forged bottom end. my 2 cents.

I think with a 100 shot you don't really have anything to worry about, just make sure your fuel and tune are up to par

anyone that tells you that your cam selection will hurt your nitrous performance at the 100 hp level is retarded.

go spray and have fun. make sure you get the tune right since nitrous will increase cylinder pressures. this goes for any cam (or motor).

Yeah 100 shot would make it really nice wand make a good amount of power. Getting around 600hp is starting to push it really, but like said make sure you have a spot on tune and upgrading the fuel pump is a must"possibly look into a dual walbro intank setup" and possibly look into getting some upgraded fuel rails. I am pretty sure you have upgraded injectors, but if you dont get them too.

yeah... ms4's don't like the spray, thats why mine put down 520 at the wheels with 900psi pressure on the 100 shot. It was exactly 100 at the wheels, bump that pressure up a little and it would have probably done in the 530-540 range. Oh and its a stock bottom end and have not had the first hiccup! *knocking on wood*

Thanks for the info guys, I've been debating this for a while now. But I'll be ordering a TNT F1, 90mm power ring, walbro pump, wot switch, window switch, and bottle warmer, and some TR6 plugs. We'll be tuning it using HP tuners at a local LS1 shop. Am I missing anything?

Edit: 2quick4u, I do have the FAST 36lb injectors.

no, the cam is not what makes it how much it can take. It would do fine on the 150, i just have not run the 150 yet cause my clutch can't even take the 100 shot. Don't have any money right now for that dual disc clutch.
