Default finally ran the T/A!

And yea....dissapointing to say the least

The quickest I could scoot down the 1/4 was a 13.7 @ 101mph. 60ft was a 1.99

Its a '00 T/A WS6 A4, and the mods are an SLP lid, ported T/B, and a Magnaflow catback. I thought it would at least run a lower 13... :\ oh well.

Update: heres the full timeslip

60ft = 1.99

330ft = 5.884

1/8 = 8.940 @ 81.69mph

1000ft = 11.551

1/4 = 13.775 @ 101mph

You didn't mention miles or gear ratio.

So, you were a .500 off what you thought you could run. Was that performance based on what you ran last time out then you made mods? Or based on whats been posted here?

Did you know a boat setting on the trailer is normally 6 mph quicker than when it's in the water?

Its a factory 3.23 car, and it has about 113,000 on the odometer.

and I was gauging my estimated ET by what people have posted on here, and I also looked for people that have track conditions similar to ours. This is at Memphis Motorsports btw.

As you can see, I had no problem at all, hooking on street tires. That was the best I could do period.

I would think you should be quicker then that for a 2000 model with those 60ft. times, hell i ran a 13.79 @ 101 in my bolt-on 97 LT1 on a 2.17 60ft., this was at 1600 ft. Alt. with 158K miles & just a Hypertech tune, i would say being in Tenn., your Alt is not that high, should be running in the 13.3s @ 105-106 at least with those mods & crappy 60fts., but with those 1.9 60fts., hell you should be closer too 13.0s, something is holding that car back IMO, If i would have gotten a 2.0 60ft., i would have gone 13.5s, All the LS1 cars at my track will kick my *** with bolt-ons, there 106-107 MPHerin & going 12.9s too 13.10s on 2.0-2.1 60ft times, are you sure you aren't letting off before the 1/4

Hey, I have an 00 formula: A4 3.23 (lid, ported tb + Bump stop mod, magnaflow)

For comparison:

1/8 mile run
1.980 60ft
8.555 @ 84.69
I brake stalled at 1,200 rpm (stock converter)
Worn down drag radials.

With my street tires I usually got a 8.7 1/8 mile.

I wont know if anything is up for sure, unti I get something to data-log with.

I do have my suspicions of it pinging though. Gas around here sucks.

Ok, update..

I found a Ls6 intake manifold for a good deal, and the LT's and ORY will be going on soon!!

Ill have a cutout as well, with these mods, how much should me ET improve?

hopefully the next time I run it, it will be cooler out.
