Manual Transmission - problem with 4 gear

Ok I just got a new clutch installed in my car today and now that I have the car back when I am in forth gear and go to pull out to shift into a diffrent gear the shifter gets stuck in 4th. I have to really rip it out to get into a diffrent gear. Is it possible the shop messed up my trans or is it just going out. It also grinds going into forth now and didnt do it before.

sounds like ya need a rebuild

hydraulics maybe? give "six speeds inc" a pm, they are very helpful from what i here

sounds like a broken key..... pretty common to happen with 3rd &/or 4th

Is it something that could have happened when the clutch went out??? What will happen if I keep driving the car, what do I have to do to fix it??

when my clutch went out on me(master went first, fixed it then slave went days later) it caused me to hurt my 3rd gear. which then lead to 4th gear, and now i have absolutely no 3rd or 4th :(

Yep sounds like the 3-4 keys are broken ...... very common issue with the T56 .

no the clutch instillation did not break anything. you just need to tear it down & rebuild it.
