double roller ?
I'm getting ready to buy a double roller timing set,and am having trouble finding the one I want.I want a 1 piece crank gear instead of the 2 piece gear I see everywhere.Does rollmaster still offer one?I bought a rollmaster CS1160 for another motor I have, and the picture from byunspeed was a 1 piece, but when it arrived,it was 2 pieces.Just seems 1 piece should be stronger than 2 pieces.

Hmmm...guess I'm not sure what you mean by a single gear. You kind of have to have two gears. The larger sits in front of the cam and the smaller sits in front of the crank. I've never seen a single gear that would compliment both...if that's what you mean. Otherwise you'd end up with an upside down shaped gear.

1 piece =has the oil pump drive part made on the crank gear.all 1 piece.2 piece has the crank gear then the oil pump drive seperately. The 1 piece is exactly like a stock crank gear, but is a double timing gear..
