Default can a regular mortal change one turbo seal?

Assuming everything is marked and put back exactly the same way, and only a seal is changed, is that something anybody can do?

Which seal, is it in the center section? Once you pull the main shaft out, you would be wise to have it rebalanced just incase. These things see anywhere from 40K rpms to 100K rpms, you wouldn't want an inbalance at that point.

Yep, it's in the center section, the seal on the exhaust side.

i am not 100% positive but you might be ok as long as you mark the wheel and shaft accordingly when dissassembly and put it back on the same spot.

Where do you find repair parts (like the seal)?

And instructions (like whether to use locktite, and the torque setting to use)?
